Timothy Ross, the fourth of triplets born to itinerant lighthouse technicians Pearl and Bailey Bridges, attended Lancing College, where he failed Latin O-level, and Sherborne School for Girls (frequently). He is rumoured to have been the ‘other member’ of the Richardson gang, but little else is known of his life until this first manuscript was successfully rejected by major publishers.

No animals were seriously harmed doing during the writing of this story. Most injuries to people were self-inflicted, except those on page 95.
